Image
Dear reader. Unfortunatley this show isn't as fiction as we might hope it will be.  I watched all 13 episodes in 4 days and wandered through my mind during those days. So here I am, writing an review on the show that blew up Netflix (and made some amazing memes!)

A talk about feminism

Image
Dear reader, I never thought I was a feminist. But then again, I wasn't educated to know what it really was. I thought feminists were men hating women and then again I always thought I had all the rights I could have. But as I got older, it changed. And now it is save to say I am a feminist, or at least a beginning feminist. On saturday the 11th of March I went to the Women's March in Amsterdam with a good friend of mine, and it inspired me to write this post. Women's march Amsterdam 11th of March 2017

Beauty and the beast, the live action movie!

Image
Dear reader, Let me tell you that Beauty and the Beast has always been my favourite disney classic/ princess movie. As a child I was always a big fan of Belle! (you might be able to imagine how happy I was when I met her!) So I had very high expectations for this movie. And when I knew who the casts was going to be my expectations got even higher and I got even more excited. (I mean Hermoine was going to be Belle, 2 of my favourite female characters😵). So I went with my good friend and fellow Disney fangirl to the movie. Me and Lieske Fangirling!

Real talk, Being alone in out society

Image
Dear reader, Time for a real talk post. The opinions in this post are my own look on being alone in our modern day society. We think it is really sad when we see someone in a restaurant, alone, enjoying dinner. Or when we see someone going to the movies by them selfs.

Make-up Time! My make-up go to's

Image
Dear reader, Some start the day with a cup of coffee, some start it with a their favourite song and most just snooze untill they are running late. I start my day with smearing make-up across my entire face. Let me be clear, I do make-up because I enjoy creating my own/ new looks. Not to be someone else or to please anyone. Make-up is too expensive to do it for others ;). But I love it. I am not a make-up artist but I do have some skills. As I said I try to put make-up on every single day and I deffinitley have my go-to products that I often use. And I have alot! So I picked the top 3..  #Notsponsord:

Where to shop? Being a plus size girl..

Image
Dear reader, As a plus-size girl shopping wasn't always easy. It was sometimes hard to find something that would fit, looked nice and was a little bit fitting to your age. And as I am a student, money is something that played and still is a big part with looking for a new outfit. But after seeking for years I did found some great shops to find nice clothes. And because I know alot of other girls and boys share these same struggles I wrote down a top 3 of my favourite shops #notsponsord: 1. H&M: The plus size collection from H&M isn't very popular. Some may not know that H&M even has one. But they do! Most of the time the collection is pretty great but is it does depends on the collection that they offer. The quality is pretty good but the price is sometimes a bit too high for what you get. But it never hurts to take a look. This is aswell in (some, not all) regular as online shops available. H&M is very popular and also have clothes for smaller sizes. ...

- Change is good, embrace it - Intro

Image
Dear reader, I started this blog about 2 years ago focused on books, movies, TV-shows and all things Fandom. I loved blogging about all these topics, but still I stopped blogging, for about a year. I can make up alot of excuses on why I wasn't active anymore. I could blame it on being too busy with school and trying to pass my exams. Or I could blame it on myself, being too insecure about my writing and English. Every time I pushed more pressure on myself to read and blog that it wasn't a nice hobby anymore. And a hobby it should be. So I couldn't bare to click on the little blogger icon on my computer. I failed at blogging. and scared of what might happend when I would click it. I never make new year resolutions. For exact the same reason....  Putting to much pressure on myself to keep these promises and feeling like a failure when it wouldn't go as I planned it would. But this year I wanted this to change. I made resolutions. I am not going to discuss a...
