Beauty and the beast, the live action movie!
Dear reader,
Let me tell you that Beauty and the Beast has always been my favourite disney classic/ princess movie. As a child I was always a big fan of Belle! (you might be able to imagine how happy I was when I met her!) So I had very high expectations for this movie. And when I knew who the casts was going to be my expectations got even higher and I got even more excited. (I mean Hermoine was going to be Belle, 2 of my favourite female characters😵). So I went with my good friend and fellow Disney fangirl to the movie.

Overall opinion (spoiler free):
I had been listening to the songs for a while now and I loved it. I could only imagine the scenes at that time. But as I said I went with my good friend Lieske to the movie theatre and we saw it. And let's get straight forward, I LOVED IT. It has all the original feelings and touches that the one from 1991 has. The cast is amazing. They all fit and act really well! And Emma Watson, Dan Stevens and Josh Gad are just perfectley cast as their characters. Ofcourse the beautiful costumes help actors looking like the characters (obviously) but they really look like the cartoon ones. As I said, the costumes were just beautiful! As someone who has the job sometimes of getting costumes for projects or plays I pay attention to how they look. And they are just marvelous! Stunning even! The sets were amazing as well and overall it completed the picture and made it alive. What I loved about Belle is that she is more inventive in this version and really shows some strong female heroin trades. I really saw the feminist side of Emma Watson shine through. And I loved it!
Detailled opinion (CONTAINS SPOILERS):
As I said above, I loved it. If I had to tell you my favourite scene of the movie I really wouldn't have the power to just give you one. So I'll tell you a few! First one is the scene were Belle and the Beast travel to the house where she grew up. They reall gave Belle, the Beast and even Gaston a little back story and I really thought this was very clever. So the scene where they gow back to that room in the mill and we see what happend to her mother and what it did to Belle finding out and the beast just being there was beautiful. My second favourite scene was the one where all the 'Antiques' became human again. It was so cheerfull and funny, absolutley loved it! And as last the one where the beasts sings the song 'Evermore'. I love the song! It has so much emotion in it and it even almost made me cry.
I gave it a 10/10 on IMDB
