Bree is a loser, a wannabe author who hides behind words. Most of the time she hates her life, her school, her never-there parents. So she writes. But when she’s told she needs to start living a life worth writing about, The Manifesto on How to Be Interesting is born. Six steps on how to be interesting. Six steps that will see her infiltrate the popular set, fall in love with someone forbidden and make the biggest mistake of her life. From the bestselling author of Soulmates comes a fearlessly frank take on school, cliques and crushes.

Overall opinion (spoiler free):Whenever i read this at, lets say, my internship. And someone asked me what kind of book it was I said: 'It is a classic young adult story but with a dark twist'. It is a different kind of story. Different from other young adult books that deals with some pretty dark and heavy stuff. But it is important to talk about, and especially to read about. During this book we follow a young girl called Bree, who interfers a group of 'Popular and perfect' people. So yes at the beginning i got the total mean girls fibe. I overall loved this book. It is heartwarming, frustrating, sad, happy, it just gives you all the right feels. And who ever you are, and whatever you are going through, i think this book will help you get through it.

Detailed opinion (SPOILERSSPOILERSSPOILERSSPOILERSSPOILERS!!!!)
This book was, as the title says, interesting. There are enough books on 'uninteresting' 'unpopular' girls who suddenly become hot and popular but realise they were beautiful all along. But this one was different. Bree didn't want to become the girls she became, she did it for reasearch. And at the end she didn't become the happy, beautiful girl she is. She is still working on that with the very last scentenses of the book. Hugo is a dick. oh now such filthy language, but come on guys you know i am right. I actually loved reading the relationship between Bree and Jass. Because you really saw the person behind, well, the bitch. I read alot of reviews on this book, and almost everyone loves Holdo. He is the Geek that you just can't help but love. But I didn't really like the character. Maybe it was his personality of not accepting anything different from what he thought was best. he just wasn't my cup of tea. We can all learn something from Bree, I certainly did.

See u next time!
Love, me.
