Harry Potter Exhibition Utrecht, my experience!
Dear reader,
After weeks and weeks of looking forward to this day it finally came.
About the exhibition (From the website itself):
In this amazing exhibition, guests will get an up close and personal look at the artistry and craftsmanship that went into creating the iconic props and costumes that appeared throughout the Harry Potter™ films. These authentic artifacts will be displayed in elaborate settings inspired by locations from Hogwarts™ School of Witchcraft and Wizardry including the Gryffindor™ common room, Hagrid’s hut and the Great Hall. Harry Potter: The Exhibition made its world premiere in Chicago in April 2009 before traveling on to Boston, Toronto, Seattle, New York, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, Edmonton, Sweden, Cologne, Paris, Shanghai & Brussels. The exhibition is now open in The Netherlands, next to Cinemec Utrecht through June 30, 2017. After The Netherlands, the tour will continue on to additional international cultural and entertainment venues, museums and institutions.
And I got to experience it all..
Let's take you through my day..
(I will not spoil the exhibition, but there will be pictures of some of the props)
After just a few hours sleep we leave at 9:00 am to Utrecht. And the closer we get the bigger my excitement is getting. Couldn't eat, just wanted to see it all. I did do my research, as usual, before we went so I knew what I could expect. And I have been fortunated enough to visit the Harry Potter experience in Londen twice, so I also knew that it would be amazing. I expected nothing less and let me tell you, I was not disapointed. We arrived and took our place in line, I heard stories about the queue being very long. When you buy your ticked you have to choose a time, this time (we had from 10:30 to 11:00) is the moment you can entern the queque. So we entered the queue and it luckily went down very fast, also because I don't know if I could have be any more excited.
And then we entered the exhibition. First you enter about 3 different rooms before the exhibition begins. Three VERY EXCITING rooms. I am a women of my word so I will not spoil them, but be ready to fangirl/Famboy very hard if you are going! Then the exhibition begins and it is time to explore the wonderfull world of the Harry Potter movies. It is not just looking at the beautiful costumes or losing my mind at seeing famous props, it is also interactive.
It was amazing and I can't wait for my pictures to be printed out.

After the amazing experience you enter the merchendise paradise better known as the Harry Potter Exhibition shop. I had been saving up some Euros to help the incomes of the event so I went shopping. Prices are for some stuff ridiculusly high, but I got the 3 items i wanted most!
I bought the elderwand, a Dobby mug and a hufflepuff scarf!It was amazing and I can't wait for my pictures to be printed out.
