Review 19 : Miss Peregrines Home for peculiar children by Ransom Riggs.
Dear reader,
YOU ARE ENTERING A SPOILER ZONE!!! SPOILER ZONE!!
SPOILER, SPOILER, SPOILER, SPOILER!!!!!
A
mysterious island. An abandoned orphanage. A strange collection of curious
photographs.
A horrific family tragedy sets sixteen-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. They may have been quarantined on a deserted island for good reason. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.

When I started this book I thought it was going to be one you shouldn't read before sleeping, as I am easily scared! But not at all. Sure it is sometimes a bit spooky and peculiar, but I didn't got frightend. The way it is written is just amazing, Mister Riggs can really create that building up to a big event thing that you mostley get in movies. The story line was amazing too, many plot twists for me and sometimes I cried scentences like I KNEW IT! but that didn't make it less fun to read.
But not only the story and the writing skills are really good, but also the way this book looks is incredible! Throughout the whole book there are beautiful and spooky pictures, that really gave the book that extra creepy boost. But also the way pages were made and the cover, Just big applause for that one!!

If you have not read the book then I suggest you don't read the next paragraphes, thanks for reading and till next time!
YOU ARE ENTERING A SPOILER ZONE!!! SPOILER ZONE!!
SPOILER, SPOILER, SPOILER, SPOILER!!!!!
When I started the book I had no idea how it was going to end or what kind of twist the story would've take. Like I never expected the children and Miss Peregrine to be alive in that Time Loop! Never! And for Jacob to be a peculiar child himself? Didn't expect that till the moment he went there. I loved how the children were portraited in the first few chapters as maybe misterious scary kids, but when we actually meet them they are just funny peculiar children. One thing tho, NEVER trusted Doctor Golan! NEVER. That man was bad news since the first time he spoke in that book. Pushing him to that island? no freaking way. I just have one remaining question... What happend to Miss P at the end? they are just rowing with her as a bird in that boat? If you know please leave your awnser in the comments!
That is it for now! Let me know down here in the comments what you thought of the book and if your comments contains spoilers please say it before the spoilers come, so that other readers won't read them!
Thanks for reading and don't forget to Comment and Share!
