Booktag 1: Book courtship tag!
Dear reader,
I am about to do something very new, a book tag!
As you might now I watch alot of booktubers. These booktubers do crazy and fun tags, book related ofcourse.
So as I was watching one I thought it was a fun idea if I did those too, only instead of a video i'll put it in words and pictures.
I would like to present the first tag:
The book courtship tag:
Initial attraction:
A book you bought because of the cover.
Buying books because they have a pretty cover is something I do alot! Luckily these books turned out to be good ones, lucky me! I bought Fangirl by rainbow rowell because of this beautiful cover! The colors really were apealing to me so I just bought them and it is now one of my favourite books ever!
First impression:
A book you bought because of the summary.
100%, The selection! I really liked the summary so I bought it, aaand I liked it :)
Sweet talk:
A book with great writing.
I have alot of books with great writing, such as the John Green books. But I do have to choose: The perks of being a wallflower by Steven Chbosky. The writing skills in this book are perfect. The way he writes about the emotions of the main character made me really feel them like you are in the story itself.
First date:
a book in a serie which made you continue the serie.
I have alot of these but I had to choose one, so I chose Clockwork Angel which made me continue the Infernal Devices series.
Late Night Phonecalls:
A book that got you up late at night reading.
This one is Paper Town from John Green. I read the comments from the trailer of the movie, and one comment said something about the end of the book so I was furious because it was very, very, very sad so I HAD to read the ending, and I did :) (luckily the girl from the comment was lying.)
Always on my mind:
A book that you can not stop thinking about.
I don't really have this, when i finish a book it stays in my mind for about 2 or 3 days. But when I am reading a book it is constantly in my head so, right now it is Shadow kiss from the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead.
Getting Physical:
A book where you love the way it feels.
I actually have 2 books for this one!
The first one is The land of stories: The wishing spell by Chris Colfer.
And the second one is Clockwork Angel in the Infernal Devices serie.
Meeting the parents:
A book you recommend to your family and friends.
This is a hard one. I think I have to go with The perks of being a wallflower by Steven Chbosky, again. This book is timeless and is for all ages I think.
Thinking about the future:
A book or series that you know you will revisit in the future.
This is for me an easy one! Deffinitley the percy Jackson serie, Because this serie introduced me to reading in a different laguage and it showed me that reading fun books can lead me to different things, like this blog. And besides that it is a great serie!
So that was the first tag!
let me know if you think these tags are fun to read here on the blog and let me know what you chose with every subject.
Love, me.
