The mortal instruments: The books, the movie and the TV show!
Dear reader,
The Mortal Instruments, the book serie that made me continue reading English.
And, in my opinion, a very good read. A little summary of what the story is about, decribed on goodreads ( Only the first book City of Bones, so that the ones who are not further then the first one won't get spoiled.):
The shadowhunters- touched by angels and charged with protecting innocents- battle demons and other evil in the bestselling Mortal Instruments series.
City of bones
When Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder. Much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with odd markings. This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons- and keeping the odd werewolves and vampires in line. It's also her first meeting with the gorgeous, golden-haired Jace. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in an ordinary mundane like Clary?
And how did she suddenly get the sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know...
And in 2013 the amazing first book in the serie, written by Cassandra Clare, was made into a movie.
Yes, the movie... Let me jut say that the acting skills were good, and the casting too. And I do think that the movie was good, but when you compare it to the book, it is sh*t! They rushed this beautiful written book into this 2 hour movie (what seems long but is not!).
It just turned out as a nice disaster.
But after 2 years, it is time for a rematch!Cassandra went to ABC with her story and sold it.
They are making it into a TV show called the shadowhunters! There are alot of rumors going around like the characters will be older then in the books. But what is not a rumor is that Dom Sherwood wil play Jace Wayland in this upcoming TV show!
You might know this lad from Vampire Academy the movie! Playing Christian Ozera.

appealing doesn't it!I loved this book serie because it is full of everything!
Romance, action, drama and alot more! Sometimes I was a bit anoyed on the main
character Clary Fray but luckily that was only sometimes.
