Review 11: The hunger games by Suzanne Collins.
Dear Reader,
Imagine a world with a capital city, 12 districts and one brutal game. Every year one boy and one girl of every district gets chosen to fight in a arena for life and death. 24 Teenagers and only one survives. Why would people enjoy watching teenagers die? Katniss Everdeen, citizen of district 12, asks herself the same question. Trying to feed the mouths of her mother, sister and her sisters annoying cat is hard enough, so why think of a way to find the system. But when her sister gets called to be in this years Hunger Games, she does the only thing she can, to do what she always does, saving the ones she loves. But one thing is for shure, Katniss will change everything.
This is a beautiful written destopian novel about Love and courage. It is also exciting to read with all the action in the story. It made me think of second worldwar meets a future destopian world. If you haven't read the book you might be familiar with the movie franchise that is still happening, because the hunger games trilogy is still in the making. Upcoming november the last movie will be in theaters! The book is deffinitly worth reading and the movie is worth seeing.
