Review 10: The perks of being a walflower by Steven Chbosky.

Image
Dear reader, Charlie is a freshman, he might not be the biggest geek in school but he is low enough on the social ladder to get teased and locked out of social groups. He is a very shy, intelligent beyond his year and socially awkward wallflower, Trying to live his life he discovers the world of dates, mix tapes, family drama's and some new friends who will try to get him out of his comfort zone. But will this world make him live, or run away from his own life? The only thing he need is the song to feel infinite, a song that will open his heart and eyes. Charlie has so many thoughts and emotions that almost every reader of this book can relate in some sort of way to this beautiful minded character. While you are reading his letters you'll find it funny but also a rollercoaster of feelings. I always see it as one of those deep and makes-you-think-of-life books! And not only the book is amazing but also the movie is breathtaking! they stayed really close ...

Review 9: The fault in our stars by John Green.

Image
Dear reader, Hazel Grace Lancaster has a medical miracle shrinking tumor in her loungs. She has been nothing but terminal and only surrounds herself with tv shows, her parents and the book she is reading over and over again. Oh.. and support group. Sitting in the heart of jesus with a bunch of other kids who have cancer and talking about what you feel is not what Hazel likes to do, but then a new face shows up in her boring life called Augustus Waters. And he might turn her last chapter upside down. The book and my TFIOS calender :)  THE FEELS!!! This looks like a romantic comedy ish book. No, it is not. It is just the hard truth written down in a book. I loved it and hated it at the same time, if you are familiar with the story you will know why. It is a beautiful love and life story, and no it is not suggercoated. This beautiful book was also made in to a movie, worth seeing. So read it and watch it! and let me know what your thoughts were! Actors Shai...

Dear Reader, Dhampirs, Vampires who are like bodyguards, protects the moroi. Moroi, vampires who only live on blood, can perform magic, and are the royalty. St Vladimir's Academy isn't just a normal boarding school, it is a hidden school where all vampires are educated in magic and the way to protect the moroi. Rose Hathaway is a dhampir, and protects her best friend Lissa, a Moroi vampire princess. After years being on the run they get dragged back to St Vladimir, the only place they are not safe. If they all only knew. A book full of action, forbidden romance and scary strigoi- The scariest and most vicious vampires in the world- who wants to make Lissa one of their own. Vampire Academy is the first one in the serie. I really liked this story, it is badass and funny at the same time. When i started the book i was afraid it would be dramatic like twilight but i was very pleased that this was not the case. The only thing that disappointed me was that the...

Review 7: Looking for alaska by John Green.

Image
Dear Reader, Miles ''Pudge'' Halter has been nothing but an outsider. And his obsession with famous last words has only made him a bigger outsider. So he leaves high school and takes a leap of faith by going to the anything-but-boring Culver Creek Boarding School, and his life becomes anything but safe. Because not only his new friend 'The colonel' shakes his world, but also there is Alaska Young. The gorgeous, clever, funny, sexy, self-destructive and screwed up Alaska Young. She pulls pudge in to her crazy world and steals his heart. For better and for worse. This book looks like a totally sweetheart, girly, love story book, but it is from John Green so there must be something that makes you think: Oh No The FEELS! Well one thing is shure feels will kick in! This book is beautifully written, HUGE compliments to mister Green. If you have read The perks of being a wallflower you are probably going to like this one! Its not written in a form of letters like T...

Review 6: The maze runner by James Dashner.

Dear reader, Waking up in a moving strange, machenical elevator. Knowing nothing about yourself but your name. And when you get out of the elevator there are alot of guys just like you, just guys. Not knowing who put you there or why? But there is one way out, after the big stone walls that surround the glade is a huge constantly changing maze. Thomas is the one who has experienced this. But after his few days getting used to this world something strange happens that shocks even the guys who have been there for a long time, a girl shows up. And that is only the start. So this is a dystopian novel, and the first in the maze runner serie (3 books in total). I really liked this book, very mysterious and alot of action in one book. If you liked divergent and the hungergames you'll probably like this one. It has also been released as a book to movie adaptation which is amazing and it really stayed true to the book so when you have read this go watch it :) If you have already read...

review 5: The land of stories, the wishing spell by Chris Colfer.

Image
Dear Reader, Alex and Conner bailey, two very different as a person but still they are twins. Alex loves reading stories and learning new things, the nerdy girl in class, everobody always says she is too uptight and needs to chill more like her brother. Conner on the other hand is a lazy boy, everybody says he doesn't care and has to be more like his sister. But what do you expect of two children who have lost their best friend, their father. But just when they thought their lifes couldn't get more boring the mysterious old storybook of their grandmother takes them to a whole new world full of adventures. While Facing their favourite fairytale characters such as princesses or talking frogs they are on a mission, the mission to go home. But how? I was with my friend in Waterstones Amsterdam when she handed me this book and asked me if the writer was the one from Glee. So i said Yea he is. I read a bit from the back and when i knew saw it was a bit about stories i thought ye...

review 4: Since you've been gone by Morgan Matson.

Dear Reader, Before her best friend Sloane came in to her life, Emily didn't go to parties or even talked to boys. But with a party friend like Sloane she has to crawl out of that shell she has been hiding in for too long! Their friendship is getting stronger and summer break is around the corner. And just when Emily gets excited to actually do something like partying, Sloane dissapears. No texts, no phone calls not even a letter. She just left a strange to-do list with bizarre tasks she normally will never do. Tasks like: Apple picking at night? Okay, that must be easy. Dance untill dawn? Yea shure. Kiss a stranger? but... what? She would never do these crazy things, unless it will get sloane back. So she decides to take this adventure, she even gets a bit of unexpected help.. I really liked this book. I even gave it 5 stars on goodreads :)! If you are not like the party kind of person you can really relate to Emily, which i could! Those bizarre tasks are so funny and...

Review 3: Infernal devices: Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare,

Image
Dear reader, The year is 1878 and miss Tessa Grey is going oversees from America to Londen to find her brother. Without knowing she enters a dark supernatural underworld with her main as character. She soon discovers that her only allies are the demon-slaying shadowhunters-including Will and Jem, the mysterious boys she is attracted to. If she wants to find her brother, she and her allies must fight against a club full of downworlders. Will she find her brother? And will he be the same as before?  This book is really one of my favourites. I had doubts on beginning this one because it is set in 1878 and most of the time i dont like book that take place in history, but Cassandra wrote everything so beautifully that i could imagine what everything looked like. The mortal instruments serie is ment to be read after this serie, but i did not got that news flash so i read this one after the mortal instruments. If you have read TMI and you want to read this one? No worries! You can e...

Review 1: Girl Online by Zoe Sugg (Zoella).

Image
Dear reader, Penny Porter as little and awkward as she feels in real life she feels big and strong online. As her alias GirlOnline she writes all her problems, feelings and experiences on her blog.  And when she thinks her life is just a really bad story she goes across the ocean to get away, and that is where her story really begins. A girl with anxiety issues, a next door friend and a camera.  So guys I read this book with great excitement because it is written by one of my favourite youtubers ever! Zoe Sugg aka Zoella. She has written this book beautifully, it is a real feel good book. Most of the time you can really guess what is going to happen so don’t expect a surprising plot twist, but even though I knew what was going to happen it made me smile even more when it did. Let me know what you guys think about the book! Love, me.
